Visiting Hours (Luke 19:37-44)
As the crowd shouts "Peace in heaven," Jesus looks at Jerusalem and weeps, because the city whose name means peace cannot see that its peace is standing at the gate. In Luke 19:41–44, the Judge weeps over the sentence he pronounces, and this study asks whether we, like Jerusalem, can cheer for Jesus and still miss the time of our visitation.
