When Peter asks what the disciples will get for leaving everything, Jesus tells the story of a vineyard owner who keeps going back out to hire workers and then pays the one-hour crew the same as those who worked all day. In this study of Matthew 20:1–16, we see that God's kingdom runs on grace, not time cards, and we're asked whether we can rejoice when the Master is generous to someone else.
