The Eggshell Phenomenon
Dr. Mike Williams
Welcome to The Eggshell Phenomenon Podcast, I will be your host Dr. Mike Williams. The Eggshell Phenomenon is an in-depth analysis of how white privilege impacts minorities in the learning environment and the workplace.Through this platform, I will explore how white privilege and institutional racism encapsulate minorities within social shells that restrict social growth. Furthermore, I will delve into how racist attitudes, values and beliefs undermine organizational efforts and drive lost profits. To that, I will also recommend solutions to foster a more inclusive working space. It is my sincere belief that we can cultivate a socially equitable culture for all citizens. Inclusion is crucial to cracking the shell of social confinement and unlocking the inner individual of our neighbor.I look forward to having this conversation with you.-M. Williams, Ph.D.
