Flying. One engine or two?

I just thought I would open the mic and spout off a bit about that horrific TransAsia crash in Taiwan this week. You know .. the one where the plane hit the bridge? No ... the pilot did NOT shut down his perfectly good engine so he could start the other one as some talking heads have said. I believe you're safer in a single (piston) engine airplane than a twin. Here's why.
