Offroad Boater is Scott and Megan Shay, a couple of boaters without a boat and exploring on land in beautiful Poulsbo, Washington. We are getting prepped to do some dispersed camping in Washington (and Canada, when we can get in), and a bit over overlanding also. In between educating our two boys in the Age of COVID and running our real estate business. In the show, we dish on the places we go, the gear we're considering (and what we actually buy), and more. Join us as we explore on land and increase our skill level as we travel and gear up to get another boat. For more exploring, of course. About the crew: Scott Shay, Truck Pilot/ First Mate: Likes: Shade. Playing with new gadgets, and babying the truck. Taking pictures, especially of waterfalls. Skiing, snow camping, fall/winter weather. Dislikes: Being hot, mosquitoes, whining kids, and sriracha. Megan Shay, Truck Co-Pilot / Captain: Likes: Being on/near water, good coffee, and bourbon.
